I took this discription off the internet, Guds fred med vore døde i Danmarks rosengaard = God's peace with our dead in Denmarks rose garden Guds fred med dem som bløde af dybe hjertesaar = God's peace with those who bleeds from deep heart wounds It's a plate that was made in memory of the dead and wounded in WWII ( in Denmark). The baby is a symbol of the future, the woman is danish, the soldier could be a member of the danish resistance movement. So there you go. The obverse is much darker than what the photograph shows. Condition very good ++
