JAPANESE CIVILIAN HELMET

Personally I don't believe the supposedly Japanese writing on the helmet. To me it looks like someone added this to enhance the helmet way back when. If I am wrong let me know just does not seem right. This helmet is complete with a full civilian liner and chin strap and the exterior retains about 90% + of the original paint. The cloth liner has a mark on it most likely the size. I purchased this from a Navy vets son. Condition very good
