US SEA BEE PURPLE HEART & DOCUMENT

I think that this is the only Sea Bee Purple Heart group that I have seen for a long time. This group is to Chief Carpenter (CEC) Lenord Elkin Barnett, US Navy Reserve. He was wounded June 15th 1944. His PH document was issued in 1960 and his Certificate of Retirement was issued in March 1946 to Chief Warrant Officer W-2 Barnett. His presidential certificate of appreciation was issued in March 1946. His Purple Heart is the Navy first style sterling silver heart and is not named as it is for WIA. The photograph of Barnett shows him in USMC coveralls and sound aslep with a photo of a couple reasons he was fighting for his country. Condition good
