US PHOTO ALBLUM AND SHOOTING AWARDS FOR THE HAWAIN ISLAND 1938/9
It seems that I have more photos that I can post for one item. Anyways this is a great set of photos of the US Army stationed in Hawaiian Islands along with a photo album made into a display case for the shooting medals from the Honolulu Police Rifle and Pistol Club for the year of 1939. There are 10 medals of superior quality and the 45 pistols and targets are just great. The reason for the quality is that they were made by V.H. Blackington Co. With the display case are about 40 printed pages of the meet and list the scores for each member and team. Thee are also 8 letters addressed to Pvt. S. T. Geredecki from the police regarding the match all sent with a 1.5 cent postage stamp. Almost for got inside the cover is a photo of the military shooting team.
The photo album has over 100 photographs of various camp life parades, field exercises, firing various artillery guns, and leisure time. There are also some larger photos of the way things should be packed and various weapons and accessories. This is a really neat set of photos and shooting awards from the good years to be serving in the Hawaii Islands. Condition very good
What is really strange is that I have two more albums that I bought about 4 years ago from the same period but shows more weapons and may I say out dated ones.
Price: $235.00
