WWI GERMAN NAVY TALLY FOR S.M.S. OSTERIESLAND

This tally is for the battleship Ostfriesland of the Helgoland class launched in 1909. This ship participated in all the major fleet operations of WWI in the north sea against the Grand Fleet, Battle of Jutland, against the Russians in the Baltic sea and the Bulf of Riga. At the end of WWI the Ostfriesland was transferred to the US Navy and sunk during air power trials off the Virginia Cape in July 1021. Almost full length. condition good ++
