FREIKORPS HEIMWEHR STEIERMARK BELT BUCKLE

This is a buckle that took me years to discover what it was. As the title list it the buckle is basically a Freikorps group from Styria. The group was also called the Styrian Homeland Protection and was led by Von Pranckhduring 1919-1920. The buckle is made of steel with a gray finish the face plate is held on by three rivets thru the face of the plate. There are no maker marks on the buckle. An unusual buckle with a neat standing dragon on the face plate. Condition rare snd very good
