SILVER STAR MEDAL x CASED x NAVY
This Navy style Silver Star is complete with the later Blue cardboard case. The label is listed as Type 4 x Bastian Bros Co. Rochester NY Aug. 9, 1943.This S Star has the nice heavy ribbon with a full wrapped brooch and thicker planchette. The Star is not numbered. Just a very nice example of a mid war medal.
