K98 BAYONET REFURBISHED ??

I purchased this mystery (to Me) K98 Bayonet at a local antique sale. The price was right, heck a K98 bayonet with a almost perfect blued blade a scabbard and leather frog all. I have to be honest I am not that knowledgeable with the common K98 bayonet. I believe that this is a refurbished item but yet there are things that it is lacking to just be reissued by some other country, We will start with the Bayonet itself. There are no Waffen stamps any where on the bayonet. The grips are wood. the blade is stamped 456 and it appears that there was a number under this larger stamped 456. The Blued blade is in great shape but to me its not the typical German Blued finish. The Scabbard has no Waffen stamps or a serial number or factory listing. The scabbard appears to have the correct German blued finish. It all Greek to me, just could not leave it sitting there. Condition good +++
