This Philippine Defense Medal is an early one with enamel on the wreath around the obverse and the reverse is stamped Bronze, its not one of the cheap knock off medals from ebay. The Slot broach has the Philippine makers full name impressed into the back plate. The ribbon bar has a pin and catch attaching not the clutch back pins. Condition very good +++++
