LUFT 2nd MODEL DAGGER x BA-BA

I recently purchased this Luft dagger at a large outdoor antique sale for a very specific reason. The dagger has to be one of the first that the famous maker with the logo of a boxed cross with a B on the top vertical section of the cross and A on the bottom vertical. The horizontal arms are the same with B on the left arm and a A on the right side. In the center of the cross there is a & sign, making the Initials B A read both ways. This is the same company that sold SA daggers with a plastic grip and a new blade by itself. They also sold Army daggers with a new blade in a leather scabbard. I don't remember 2nd model Luft being offered for sale. These daggers were advertised in sport and gun magazines for years at $69.00 dollars each. I probably am wrong on the exact price but they were offered for several years. My assumption is that this is an early piece as everything is original including the blade and even the leather buffer pad. They never offered daggers with a proper scabbard. The obverse side of the blade has Solingen 1939 and the cross B & A factory logo photo engraved on it. The reverse has the word Germany stamped on it to allow importation in the US. To recap this dagger in my opinion all parts are correct and a plain blade was etched with the Solingen and fake makers logo. This is what it is. Condition very good +++
