K98 BAYONET x E. PACK & Co.

This K98 matching number bayonet by E. Pack co. has the typical blued blade which retains about 93+% of the finish. There are the typical wear marks from the internal scabbard spring. The blade has not been sharpened and there are no nicks or rust spots. The scabbard has the same production number 6152 A (second run) and the E. Pack name as on the blade. I did not pick up in the photo the letter A under the number on the scabbard as I needed another hand to hold back the frog. The blade is dated 40 on the top back strap near the cross guard. The grips are the typical brown plastic with no problems.The frog is still serviceable with no maker marks showing. Condition very Good +++ The photos of the grip plates shows some gook on one side near the cross guard? There is nothing there to detract from the grip plate.
