BRTISH WWII BLACKOUT LGHT

This blackout candle light was made in 1941 Pat.number 1420/41. It’s the first one I have owned and I do not know much about it. I have seen it in use my he military nether civil defense personal. There seems to be various designs of this lantern and explanations as how it was used. The mfg information is well marked and the construction is rather flimsy but economical for the war time mass production. Size 11” high body not measuring the wire carding wire and 6” are at the base an unusual item to be in USA Condition very good +
