1934 E.F. HORSTER K98 BAYONET

This Bayonet was made in 1934 the first year for the new K98 style. The Bayonet is stamped on both the blade and the Scabbard on the obverse side 7353 F with the reverse stamped S/155K for E.F. Horster. The pommel has two old style Waffen Amps with a 95 inspectors number stamped on the reverse top portion. The water guard also has the Waffen 95 stamp. The blued blade is in remarkable condition with most of the original blueing intact except for around the tip area. The Scabbard shows lots of usage with surface rust and one minor ding. The Scabbard could be cleaned up a little but I would leave it as is. Condition rare very good +
