WW II SEABEES GROUP

This is a original SeaBees grouping belonging to Petty Officer 1st Class Howard Smith, Carpenter. Howard was my stepfathers best friend and an early SeaBee recruit. He was wounded on Iwo Jima and was always kidded as he received a mortar wound in the rear end. A- Included is a book Can Do-Will Do a history of the Sea Bee organization from WW2 thru Viet Nam. Howard has a large entry on page 136/137 regarding his history with the unit. B- U.S.N. Petty Officer 1st Class shoulder patch. C- 1st Divison USMC patch D- Rectangle C B Patch E- two period SeaBees shoulder patch F-one patch with just the initials C B. G- Modern bumper sticker and Seabee window emblem. Condition very good ++
