LEATHER CASE FOR 08 MG SIGHT

I have never seen this German leather container before. I took it to a large show and was advised that it was for an 08 Machine Gun Sight. The Case is made with High quality leather with brass rivets. The top attached cover has M.G.R.A. impressed into the leather. The inside has a green cloth liner and a aluminum tag with “Hohenlibelle” on it. The bracing to hold the sight is leather covered wood. The inside top cover has a leather buffer pad. On the outside upper left curve the leather has a round makers stamp GEBR. WICHMANN 6. then a large 1937 date with a Waffen Amp stamp with WaA142. Condition very good ++++
