U.S. NAVY PEACE CRUISER U.S.S. GALVESTON

This is a badge is named to the U. S. S. Galveston on the front of the badge. The Galveston was a cruiser equipped to be used in the Pacific. The reverse shows an early American eagle with a blank space to add a name. It then list the following German, American War Service. I just don’t remember of the two Navies working together. Condition very good
