Tanto or Wakizashi Tsuba

Very nice soft metal tsuba made of bronze, these are often made by mirror makers. This one has a mythological animal at the top with a rope leading down to a bowl. Years ago Japanese swords and fittings were so much more expensive, now is a great time to collect them because they are so much cheaper.
