WW2 USMC HELMET W/CAMO COVER

Just picked up this swivel bail front seam USMC M1 helmet with a camo cover. I will start with the herringbone cover that has the the black EGA on the front. The cover itself shows lots of wear, but still has most of the exterior camo color. It appears that the cover was worn the EGA down towards the front rim and also higher up as the cover has two separate wear lines on the front and back side for this to happen. The sides are cut open for the straps and the top of the cover has the most wear most likely used as a seat. The of the toungs that are between the shell and helmet are in full color as is the reverse side of on toung has a yellow 80 stenciled. The M1 swivel bail shell is marked 11102 and has the complete chin strap. The liner was made by Capac Mfg. Co. and has the number 80 stenciled in yellow 0n the top. The liner is complete with all the components webbing, headband, tie string,and the leatherChin Strap. Helmet, cover and liner are used but complete. Condition very good
