FRENCH M16 FIGHTING KNIFE

This M16 French Fighting Knife made by Bourgade also called the Avenger by the French. This knife has been used the wood handle is fastened to the tang by a flat spaner type plate. The wood is a dark sculptured shape to fit the hand. The Cross Guard is a fairly plain sheet steel guard. The blade I’d double edged with the Bourgade name and head stamped into the Ricasso. The blade has been sharpened and has very minor dark spots. The Scabbard is made from sheet Medal with a large round wire belt loop welded to it. The black finish is about 70% complete. The Scabbard runners hold the knife very securely. Condition very good +++
