E PACK LONG STAG HANDLE DRESS BAYONET

This is a typical dress bayonet by E. Pack & Sons Solingen for an Artillery man with the red insert in the bayonet slot. The pommel, cross guard are one piece in a deep plated finish. The button and release button are functional. The stag horn grips are held on the bayonet with the typical Pack offset rivet bolts. The blade is 9.5” long with no nicks not sharpened bright finish. The Scabbard shows use and has that crazing on the paint that only original scabbards have for this period. Condition very good +++
