CA Pocher SS Decal.

This is an absolutely original decal that was originally attached to the sheet of four pictured. The former owner vet purchased these and I was lucky to buy a couple of them. I did see one other sheet of CAP decals with more decals on it then this one. What is very interesting is the artwork varies greatly on these decals. On this one you can see the lack of ink in some areas of the decal, originally I was told this is because of wear but it is actually the printing process. Also, a friend originally was worried about these decals because there is some chipping or some would call it a "postage stamp" look around the borders in some areas. I did talk to a friend who has studied and owned more decals then any of us could count, they used to be easy to find years ago unallied. On a hotel buy years ago we had several sheets come in, there were hundreds of them! Anyway, the reason you see the postage stamp effect is because the ink did not adhere well sometimes on CAP decals. These were posted on the helmet forum on the WAF and were well accepted, you can look it up if you like.
