VON MOLTKE THE ELDER SMALL STATUE

I guess you could call this a miniature statue of Von Moltke the Elder on a marble base. Von Moltke was a Prussian field Marshal and then the chief of staff of the Prussian Army. The overall height of the statue and base is almost 5”. The statue has a great bronze finish on some base material.The detail is really fantastic and I like the GARDE Star Eagle on the spiked helmet. On the reverse is the artist and most likely the foundry that made it both of which I can not read. I have a bunch of the full size Bronze Statues and this was the first I bought in this size, it looked great on my desk. The photos show where the finish rubbed off the tip of his nose and chin but hardly show up in person. Condition very good and great looking ++++
