K98 TURRET SCOPE PROJECT

This could be your winter project restoring this Turret Mounted Scope. The Scope parts came from the Kirkland Battlefield some time ago. I found the parts at the Allentown Gun Show this past weekend and was really surprised to see the front mounting ring of a Turret Scope in the box of dug up parts. What surprises me is that even in this condition the optic lenses are still in the two ends of the scope parts. I started to clean the dirt off one lenses and then thought it would be better not to do that as it would take away from the dug appearance. Just a neat display item, would be nice if they could tell us what they saw/ Condition, Dug
