USMC GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL & ALL THE PAPER WORK 1918-1921

This is just a great Good Conduct Medal group it includes his Good Conduct Medal, a neat WW1 Victory Medal with a U.S. Marines bar added to the top of the ribbon, pristine Sharpshooter badge with his initials scraped in the back of the cross, His War Service Certificate, the headquarters certificate for the GCM, the GCM transmittal letter, his honorable Discharge, two photos of him in uniform, just a really neat and complete group to one marine. Except the dam Good Conduct Medal is serial Number is 46596 not what is listed on the Award Document or the Transmittal letter that states his Good Conduct Medal is number 45596. So the clerk screwed up in the first award document and it was carried over to the transmittal letter. So here you have this great complete group with the wrong serial number listed. Like they say it is what it is. I still like it. Condition excellent +
