GAR NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT REPRESENTATIVE BADGE FOR 1928

I have been collecting GAR national encampment badges for a number of years. The GAR stands for the Grand Army of the Republic an acrimonion for the Union Soldiers consolidation of all the small veteran groups. I was first drawn to the badges by the enamel work on some of them and then just purchased the others I’ve the years. This badge is made of three pieces chained together for the 1928 reunion at Denver Colorado. The medal is made of bronze with that years president on the front of the medal. Condition very good ++
