US EAGLE CAP BADGES

This group of mostly Officers cap badges consist of A/ Mid 1800’s Federal and State shako brass eagle, B/ Something that I have never seen before its a eergated set of the eagle and wreath in heavy medal almost twice the size of the normal Officers Eagle emblem and it has loops on the reverse tomount to whatever C/ a very nice eagle that is bent on the tail feathers to fit the cap and is with a great frosted finish, the tip of the wings have a small sharp projection to keep it from turning. D/ This next one is bright brass and shows the variations that were made by the different companies E/ This one is a nice WWI Officers eagle with the top wreath bent out to accommodate the visor cap F/ This appears to be an early US Air Force Eagle with the burnished silver finish. All are derived from the original 800’s eagle with out the savors and the shield is different. Note all eagles have mounting stems and nuts or are with loops to sew or hold on with leather strips.Conditions very good
