THREE OFFICIAL KOREAN WAR PHOTOS

I went thru about 100 photos from the Korean War at a Florida gun show and picked out three of the 10” x 8” that intereste me. Two are censored news security division of the US Air Force FEAF. The first one is a South African Air Force F-51 Mustang loaded for bear. The plane is taking part in a three nation air strike and is loaded with rockets, and two NapalmTanks plus the six 50 Cal. Machine guns. The attached listing denote the plane is from the Flying Cheeta Squadron and the insignia under the pilot is the Springbok. The second photo has two US F-51 flying over industrial military target and the closest one is dropping two Napalm fire bombs and they are caught in mid air. The third one is of the US Army men manning a 75MM Recoilless Rifle on a hilltop. I bought this one because of the helmet on the guy on the right has a half circle with a space down the middle painted on his helmet. With a magnifying glass you can also see an open carton of Lucky Strike ciggerates, two Granades and some M1 clips at the ready. The neatest thing is a Russian rifle laying on the ground just in front of the very shallow position. personally I would have had a much deeper hole if the enemy got that close. I would not care how long how it took the other guy to dig it. This one is stamped on the back with the two soldiers names and hometown. Condition very good with original approval and explanation for the Stars and Stripes Newspaper. Condition very good ++
