EMBLEM OFF A GERMAN BOMMER SHOT DOWN DURING THE BATTLE OF BRITIAN

First off I have a hard time photographing items framed with a glass front. This is an unusual item that was put together by artist Brian Moon who is well known as the founder of MIA hunters who has searched all over the world for missing US Air Men lost in WW2. This framed German bomber insignia came from a bomber shot down during the battle of BRITIAN and is professionally framed as he did all his finds. I tried to look up what group the bomber would have belonged to but did not find it. Someone with more experience with the Luftwaffe will be able to do that. Included with the emblem are two pieces of 450 year old English Oak wood from a building that was destroyed by bombing in 1940. This is something very unusual but really neat from a well know MIA researcher. Condition very good ++++
