US NAVY MEDAL GROUP FOR THE USS MAINE BB-10

Now before you get to excited this is the USS Maine BB-10 not the earlier one that started the Span Am war. That’s why I put the navy numerical number on the heading. This small group is to R.M. Stevens who is listed as a crew member when the ship was part of the Great White Fleet Circumnavaigation of the globe. The group consist of the Cuban Pacification 1908 medal numbered 222 and rim named to him and listing the USS Maine, the second medal is from the city of Rochester with its case and engraved with his name, the third medal is a WWI Victory medal, also with the group is a WWI lapel service star and a American Legion pin. Condition very good ++
