FIRST PRIZE PRESUME MARCHING 1936

I bought this ten years ago just thought it was one of the neatest wall plaque prizes I have seen for the German military. This first prize with the two K98 rifles and the full pack including the extra pair of shoes mess kit blanket and ground sheet, even the rifle has the bolt handle sticking out. The winner Ufs SchieBen won this on Feb. 26, 1936. The silver wash is coming off part of one rifle other wise it retains all the original finish. Wood block size is 8” high and 5 3/4 “ wide. The reverse has three mounting bolts and buts and one hanging hook assembly. Condition very good ++++
