GERMAN PITH HELMET 2ND MODEL

This second model Pith helmet is out of my collection. This Pith helmet has the nice dark gree felt cover and is complete with the two badges and the chin strap. The adjustable air vent is open all the way and the exterior trim around the brim edge show wear and has broken through the front of the brim. The interior has the green trim on the brim and red for the head area, with a red tag listing the size 56. The sweat band is not maker marked on the exterior but marked on the inside of the leather band dated 3 - 42 size 56 and F.ST.L. There are small moth nips on the underside green around the brim. Condition very good++
