USMC PERSONAL FILE 1917-1928

This is his personal file for USMC SGT Jesse J. Lipman. It is not complete as it starts in 1918 and ends in 1928. The file contains his promotion papers for Corporal, Sergent, and a later document June 8th 1920 to permanent Sergent. The rest of the paper work deals with his request for a transfer to the pay master office and his commanding officer not wanting to give him up unless he can find someone to replace him. The top letter dated Feb.7th 1928 list Sgt. Lipman as having served in San Domingo. I have not taken the time to look him up just too busy pulling stuff out to sell. So his folder is completely un-researched. his mailing address was Webster Ave. Bronx NY. Condition very good
