US WWII NAVY GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL GROUP
This is a neat US Navy good conduct medal group to William Lowell Varner the group consist of two sets of dog tags one dated 1943 the other 1944. there is a single dog tag with the fingerprint on the reverse with the attaching chain. The Good Conduct medal is named William Lowell Varner 1938, the 1941 bar has his full name on the reverse, The third award bar is blank on the reverse, the fourth award bar is also blank on the reverse. There are two sets of ribbon bars one bar has the good conduct medal with three stars and the American defense ribbon with one star. The second set of ribbons has the good conduct bar with four stars a bronze star ribbon and the American defense with one star. There is also a Navy honorable discharge button hole badge and a name tag. a nice group should be researched. Condition good +
