2ND MODEL LUFT DAGGER BY EICKHORN LATE WAR

This late war 2nd model Luft dagger was made by Eickhorn with the late stylized stamped Eickhorn Squirrel logo. Description starting with the grip, the Pommel has most of the gold paint on the swaz. I am not sure if it is the original paint being produced so late in the war. I haven't had a late war with the gold swaz in so long that the texture of the pint could be correct. The Yellow-Orange grip has the correct twisted wire wrap and there are no chips or cracks, The Cross Guard matches the Aluminum finish of the Pommel.The leather washer is present in the Gross Guard Recess. The blade is bright and the Eickhorn trademark is stamped not etched and somewhat weak in the head area, but complete. The tip has a slight bend to it from misuse. The blade has no dings or rust spots and is very bright. The Scabbard is complete and has no dents to it. Condition very good +++
