BULLION U.S. OFFICERS INSIGNIA

Once again something comes out of a box of stuff and I wonder where and when I acquired it. This beautiful bullion example of a officers visor cap eagle and the standing lion that reminds me of a artillery unit insignia. The Eagle measures 3.5" high x 2.30 wide the Lion is 4" high x 3" wide. They are embroidered on a high quality velvet cloth. The reverse white backing has two ink stamps from the Gota House in Paltian Bazaar India. Both are a very high quality workmanship something you do not see today. The wire material is smooth to the skin not like the present day rough wire thread. Condition very good ++++
