US WWI 27th DIVISION ENGRAVED MESS KIT

I haven't had one of these WWI personalized mess kit in a long time. The top cover is engraved with the number 27 and under it a copy of the 27th patch followed underneath with Div. The cover is great enough but the outside bottom of the kit is just as neat. The kit has the initials H E A engraved with a U.S. helmet on the left side and a rifle on the right side. Under this is engraved Verdun then Meuse and then Argonne. On the lowest portion is engraved April 1919 (must have been an occupation soldier). Also engraved is the word Metz, Montsuks and on the other side La Clare. A neat mess kit, I wonder if he showed it to his wife or girlfriend when he came home, Condition very good +++
