M43 FIELD CAP

This M43 Field Cap just came out of an old time collection. This M43 Cap is constructed of grey wool and a rayon blend. The cap features a fold down panels covering each ear and the neck. The steel buttons are usually used on Officer and NCO caps. The triad patch has the National Eagle with out stretched wings and hand sewn to the cap. The visor is oversized, with internal support. There appears to be piping around the cap but I am not sure if it is piping isf so what color. Seems it matches the cap. The visor has been folded in the center length. I am sure that was fron folding and putting in his pocket or under his belt. This photos showing the bottom of the cap shows lots of use and sweat, plus the two draw straps mounted on each side. Wish I could tell you more but not my strength. Condition used very good ++++
