BURNT ORANGE HANDLE ARMY DAGGER

I recently purchased this Army dagger for my self and then I remembered that I don’t collect Naz stuff anymore. This Army Dagger really caught my eye I just love the early deeply slanted grip groves and the burnt orange finish that is same uniform color both sides. The aged nickel silver pommel, cross guard and scabbard are perfectly matched. The cross guard has the raised eagle chest and the letter J engraved on the reverse. The blade has been sharpened and hit with a grinder and maybe a file, the factory logo has been partially erased and what I can see I have to admit I don’t remember the makers name. The oval Logo has most of the makers name missing and it appears that there is a horse standing on his hind legs. I can make out the following portion of the name ELHOFER & co. I don’t have any of my files with me and I am past relying on my memory. The scabbard has a slight dent on the obverse side. A great looker display Dagger just a poor blade. Condition exterior very good ++++
