1939 NAVAL ORDNANCE BOOK (BIBLE)

This 1939 NAVAL ORDNANCE BOOK was for the Midshipmen at the Navy Academy an it has operating and maintain Mende for just about cannon down to personal forearms. I have never seen such a detailed book and beside all the photographs it has colored drawings and huge fold out showing the item broken down and how to use it. I just opened one and it is listed as General Arrangement of the 5-inch Mount Mark XIII Modification 3. All I can say is if I had to learn of of this I wouldn’t have lasted very long at the Academy. The small arm section includes the45model of 1911 auto pistol, the BAR, Lewis Machine Gun, and Browning Machine Gun. There are 481 pages for you to read the next time you cannot fall asleep.
