OLD TIME ADS FOR SOME GERMAN STUFF

I believe everything was sold a long time ago and as we use to say “sorry about that.” My collecting days really began in 1963 and the prices were just a little higher. With my limited funds I had placed a limit on what I would pay for German daggers and that was $13.00. Didn’t matter what it was, but it had to be with the hanger and of course in excellent condition. Medals and badges were in such abundance that we did not even bother with them. Helmets were so prolific that we use to shoot up any helmet without decals, they made great targets. Always placed them out at a good distant and then basted away at them with WW2 rifles. Sometimes we did not hit them and we just left the helmets where the laid because we did not want to walk out and pick them up. I had friends that bought some of the welded MP40’s STG’s and other US MG’s and one friend had one of the boys 55cal anti tank gun and a 20 mm semi auto Lahti ATG. I could tell you some wild stories about shooting them. It may sound crazy but that the way it was, the glory days.
