PHOTO (large) USS LOUISIANA

The USS Louisiana BB-19 a Connecticut Class Battleship commissioned in 1906 was 16,000 Tons, 22 MPH, four 12” Cannon, with 7” and 8” secondary cannons. This ship participated in the Great White Fleet, Mexican Revolution, Occupation of Veracruz, and WWI. She was scraped in1923. The photograph is 20” wide by 12” high mounted on a heavy stock. There are two tears in the lower right of the backing card. It’s a great photo and to be honest I never knew we had a ship built in this configuration with all the cannon along the side of the ship.
