GERMAN U-BOAT LOSSES DURING WWII, BOOK

Here is a book that was in my Library that I had forgotten all about, having said that this book is the most complete reference on WWII U-Boats ever published. it starts off by listing the U-Boat Numbers and types for 1935-1945. The next listing is the Loss Register that list U-Boat losses from type 1A tru type 26W. This listing by the boat series type, list the date manufactured, shipyard maker and the boat number assigned to it, then the date lost by how and the location. The next chapter is the Chronological listing by date of each submarine lost. There is a listing of the submarines captured by Germany by type and where it was made. Next is the Loss register by U-Boat type by number and where it was lost and if possible by how it was lost. The next chart list U-boat losses by month of each year and by cause. The next listing is of captured or surrendered boats. This last charts are area maps of the world showing where each submarine was lost by the Sub number. The thing that really impresses me is just how many boats that they lost. its a good thing that the type XX submarine was only available at the very end of the war. Condition very good +++
