US 45 HOLSTER DATED 1917

This 45 holster is made by the PERKINS DAMBELL CO. Dated 1917 and inspected by R.J.M. This holster has been modified by the owner by removing the typical wire loop mounting wire. The rear cutouts for the belt have been modifier to fit a garrassion belt. The internal wood block has also been removed. Was this guy a quick draw shooter? The holster is the nice deep brown leather and it is still playable and ready for use today. Condition modified,and very good
