WWII TANKERS HELMET

It took me a long time to find a really nice tanker helmet and I finally found one June 1992. Even back then it was hard to find a good tanker helmet. I have not found any maker tag or stamp just the size 7 on this helmet . It has been part of my US helmets and has been sitting on my shelf for a long time. The shell retains almost all of the paint the side tension straps are still with tension the leather is in good condition except for one of the thin outside leather pieces that helps hold the ear phones in place. The helmet shows use but is still serviceable. Just a nice helmet. Condition very good ++
