WWII US NAVY TELESCOPE ALIDADE CASED

This is another of the be the first on your block to own this beautiful original WWII US NAVY TELESCOPE ALIDADE, CASED. This is one heavy unit I honestly refused to buy it until it I could sell it below the market price. Not knowing what it was fore I looked it up and here is the proper description a device that allows one to sight a distant object and use the line of sight to perform a task. There is more but who cares. The telescope itself has a air bubble to level it and what I can determine is missing is the unit that screws into the telescope for a light bulb, although there is a spare light bulb in the box. The lense is clear much better than my attemo7to take a photo thru it. The thing a ma jig that slides on the telescope is clear and working freely. All the similar units on the internet did were beat or missing the thing ma jig that you look thru. This also has a small alidade on a circumferentor that none of the listed ones. From my research it's a similar unit but less complex. So there two of these instruments to measure line of sight. What more could one ask for? Remember this is a heavy unit (postage cost) but being the first one the block outweigh that. Condition very goog
