M1917A-1 US Helmet

I don’t know much about these but they seem to be extremely rare! This one is super cool, it has the most awesome thick textured painted surface you could imagine. The painted finish is extremely strong with just minor signs of age and wear, but enough there to let you know it is old. The liner is leather and does show some age and wear but overall is pretty decent. There is a name inside but I am not patient enough to figure it out. It is a Sgt named helmet and does have his regimental information as well, you just need to be patient to figure it out. Pretty decent helmet!
