SS M43 CAP

This M43 is from my collection it was originally purchased in January 1977 by me personally from a veteran who lived in the middle of nowhere. I purchased this M43 Cap, a private purchase SS officers cap for infantry, and a SD SS Helmet from him. I have sold the helmet and the visor cap and kept the M43 on display for years. This Italian made cap using the gray green Italian cloth with Italian light brown plastic buttons is a classic period made M43. The green triangle SS insignia is sewn on with no stitching going thru the liner. The cap does not unbutton but you can pull the ear cover down. There is no leather sweat band and the caps shows some wear but no sweat stains on the sides or the top. Condition very good ++++
