US WWI ARMY BACK PACK w/MEAT PACK

Where did all of the WWI back packs go to they seen to have disappeared. Its so bad that they reproduce them and sell them on the internet. This is something I got recently from a picker and it is complete with all the straps and buckles. The meat tin pouch still has the leather sheaf for the knife utensil. The pack flap is marked US and inside there is the manufacture LONE 11-18. The unit is not dirty but covered with almost 100 years of dust. First photo was on a different camera setting the rest of the photos are correct just to tired to photograph it again. Condition very good
