Viet Nam Era Graffiti Helmet

This is my helmet I bought out of my shop years ago from the grandchild of the vet. They did not want it and I was thrilled to have it walk in, it has a lot of personality. It is funny because years ago no-one cared about US helmets, now they are hot! This cover has the absolute look it was there which really makes it and has Mac's name written on it hence why it is called a graffiti helmet. For whatever reason the outer shell of the liner is yellow, I have had several helmets like this over the years. I was told by a vet one time he was directing traffic which is why he wore his liner and it was painted white, I am sure there is a reason for this too. The liner is fine and again, it has a lot of character!
