I bought this direct from a vet over 40+ years ago and I remember thinking how did he ever got it home without breaking it. The problem was I thought the same thing so I have always had it put away or on a high shelf. I will be selling more on my desk ornaments and bronze statues in the coming months. This three dimensional head is just a great looking in the dark gray/brown finish. The glaze is heavily applied and ground off the back to lay flat on the wall. The Meissen stamp in the reverse is in a oval. Not much to say about the subject but I am sure he was in many houses. Height 9″ x width 6 3/4″. Condition like new
